What files does Simple Read support?

Simple Read currently supports imported TXT text files.

Does Simple Read delete my original TXT file?

No. Removing a book inside Simple Read only removes it from the app library. It does not delete the original file from your device or Files app.

Why does the voice sound different on different iPhones?

Simple Read uses available iOS system voices for basic reading. Voice availability and quality may vary by device and installed voices.
